Quite simply this was a Haskell

Manufacturers continued to experiment with golf ball design including Goodrich who introduced the pneumatic ball in 1906 (the patent was held by T. Saunders and filed in 1901). Quite simply this was a Haskell ball with a compressed air core which unfortunately was prone to expansion with heat and therefore causing the ball to explode. Others tried mercury, cork and metal cores.
Only in 1972, when Spalding introduced the first two piece ball, the Executive, was the basic Haskell design improved upon.  If the hazard line is red you have the options above plus two more. You can drop the ball, while incurring a one stroke penalty, within two club lengths of where the ball last crossed the hazard line but no closer to hole. You may also go to the other side of a hazard and drop the ball, must be the same distance to the hole.
Now that you know the options take the time to think it over before just throwing another ball down. Sometime there is such a thing as a good bogey.  The ideal stance is to have your weight equally balanced. It is important to stay relaxed over the golf ball as any tension will affect the quality of your golf swing so make sure to follow this important golf tip.
You want to bend at the hips when addressing the golf balls and have a slight flex in the knees also. In addition keeping the spine erect and not rounded is important.  This may sound a little bit crazy to some but, with every club except the driver and putter you should be striking the ball with a slightly downward blow. What this does is, it allows the loft of the club to work as it's supposed to and launch the ball up into the air. Proper golf ball contact will also increase distance because when the ball is hit at impact, the descending movement compresses the ball witch in turn releases more energy sending the ball further.
Golf is no different. If you fill your head with all these swing thoughts and tips, you will have a very difficult time finding the golf ball. You will struggle continuously with your swing. You need to get the fundamentals of your grip, posture, stance and ball placement, other than that, go out and have fun and see how your swing  naturally does
